Hugh is a voiceover coach, director, and demo producer in New York City. He teaches the conversational read, self-direction, and the commercial read, directs auditions, and produces demos (amongst other things).

For nearly fifteen years, Hugh was the Voiceover Studio Manager at Buchwald, New York, directing booking auditions for every kind of voiceover. And to date, Hugh has directed over 125,000 auditions and counting.

His seminar series The ConversationalVO Open Studio launched in September, 2024 to great success.

Hugh was nominated for Best Female Commercial Demo Production at OneVoice Dallas, has presented at NEVO and VO Atlanta, teaches workshops for the SAG /AFTRA Foundation and is on the organizing committee for the WOVO UNconference.

While teaching classes, private coaching, small group coaching and lecturing, Hugh’s re-launched newsletter is getting ready for release on conversationalvo.com.

Hugh has also been the head of sound for Penn & Teller, an Equity Stage Manager, a producer at the Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn (now Detroit), an award winning composer and lyricist for theater, film and digital media, a music theory lecturer at SUNY Purchase, assistant to a Baroque trumpet scholar, a certified K-12 music teacher and two time marathon finisher.

Los Angeles based voice actress Lili Wexu is an accomplished voice artist with over 25 years of experience in her field. As an actress, she’s appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, in Alien vs Predator, and has lent her voice to the Assassins Creed II video game. She’s also had the honor of announcing at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. These days, she spends most of her time recording commercials & manifestos.

As an author, Lili's written a modern Voice Acting bible called “Get Clever About Voice Acting & Announcing” which helps aspiring voice actors prepare to meet today’s marketplace demands. Lili also coaches professional voice actors and TV announcers in the commercial sector, and is about to launch her first online commercial voice acting class.
